Events Circus Skill Workshops

Lots of laughs to be had, and skills to be acquired

As part of our Erina Fair Extraordinaire we are offering a series of free Circus workshops throughout the week. Bookings essential, please use links below to book. For information on our Circus including show times please see here.



Minimum age 8 (do not require parents to stay). Open to all skill levels.

  • Sunday 13 January: 12pm - 1pm
  • Monday 14 January: 2pm - 3pm
  • Wednesday 16 January: 12pm - 1pm
  • Thursday 17 January: 2pm - 3pm

Learn stilt walking, roller boller, slack line, hoops, juggling,  acro - balancing, diablos,  devil sticks, spinning plates, ribbons, and unicycle are all taught in a fun and focused way by multi skilled, highly experienced trainers.

These workshops also develop confidence and concentration, social skills, problem solving, patience and perseverance all in an empowering learning environment where participants engage in a non-competitive and playful way. 

Come and join Rachel and Andy, founders of Roundabout Circus, for an epic hour of fun! With over 20 combined years of experience from around the globe, Rachel and Andy will have you doing things you never thought possible!
The fun doesn’t stop there. If you really enjoy yourself and want to learn more skills, Roundabout Circus has classes 7 days a week in Wyoming for kids and adults.



Minimum age 5 (requires at least 1 adult to accompany child between 5 - 8 years old). Open to all levels.

This workshop is for anyone ready to go out on a limb and try a new way of working with their body and their family!

In a super energising and extremely stimulating environment, you will learn fun and interesting ways to play with your family utilising partner balances, group acrobatic maneuvers, as well as restorative exercises to support 'active recovery'. 

In a world where we often feel that 'screen time' has stolen our children, Zoe provides ways to reinvigorate the quality of our relationships through play and physical support. 

A certified 'Acroyoga International' teacher, entertainer and mother of teenage boys, Zoe Braithwaite has been teaching kids yoga and circus for over 15 years and is passionate about inspiring playful and nourishing relationships to support positive change in the world.

'Acroyoga International' is a system which makes acrobatics accessible to all! 

Combining acrobatics, yoga and play, simple movement patterns are sequentially layered together, seamlessly blending into more complex actions supporting a gradual and safe integration of acrobatic feats. 

Utilising partner and group exercises the focus on body alignment, core strength and balance brings about stability, stamina and flexibility, inspiring the mind and body to create personal change and improvement. 

As participants are challenged to problem solve, they learn to come up with new ways of working together to achieve balance, ease and success.

The combination of a safe and stable environment with the right amount of challenge and risk supports participants work to their highest potential, completely surprising themselves with what they are capable of! Experience a tumbling workshop with Rick Everett.

With career physical performer Rick Everett this is truly the case. With over 20 years of professional performance experience Rick has reached a truly exceptional skill level across a vast range of disciplines including tumbling, adagio, harness/wall running, bungee work, static trapeze, flying trapeze, silks, stilt acrobatics, fire performing, dance, rope, acting  and more than a fistful of random sideshow feats. 
Rick has continually been involved with Australia's top performing companies on the international stage including Stalker Theater (Stiltbreak, Elevate, Encoded, Pixel mountain, Frameshift, Creature) Opera Australia (The magic flute, Carmen) Strings Attached (A return to the trees) Theatre of Image (Snow on mars) and Legs On The Wall (The magic flute, On the case, The tale of Samulnori, Beautiful Noise, Fifa world cup)

Flips, rolls, somersaults and tucks will all appear sometimes in conjunction with a mini tramp during the course of this workshop.
